Not so much today, we are going to be covered in a nice warm cloud blanket that’ll keep us in the 30s for the foreseeable future!
For the daylight report, I announced that today, sunrise was at 7:56 a.m., with sunset scheduled for 5:06 p.m. That gives us a grand total of nine hours, 10 minutes, and 22 seconds of daylight today.
Compared to last week, we only had eight hours, 54 minutes, and 32 seconds of daylight, which is an increase of 15 minutes and 50 seconds.
On Chat About today, we are having Dr. Jerrod Spring from Sanford Behavioral Health on the show. He moved to Bemidji in early December, all the way from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and he is going to talk about depression with us. A very important topic to discuss, and we are so lucky to have another psychiatrist in town! Now we have two!
For McDonald’s Morning Show Trivia, I asked what the largest rodent in North America was. It, of course, is our BSU mascot and Todd’s nemesis, the beaver!
Todd has told me many stories of “those pesky beavers” that mess with his birch trees along the shoreline.
One of these days, the “Angry Todd and the Beavers” comic strip will come to fruition. Now that we have an artist in the building, it may just be possible.
For National Pie Day, we were actually able to celebrate! Eric brought Todd and I pieces of pie after he heard our whining on the air. I got strawberry rhubarb!
That’s it for me today, be sure to tune in tommorrio!
